The use of Alphabol is recommended as a treatment for severe cachexia caused by AIDS, severe illness, or unexplained medical conditions. As well as treating hereditary angioedema, Alphabol may also be indicated to treat asthma.

There used to be a Ciba brand name for the oral steroid methandienone known as Dianabol, but there is no longer one. This is a natural product that is derived from testosterone, which has strong anabolic properties as well as moderate androgenic properties. The first time this compound became available was in 1960, and it became the most commonly used and popular anabolic steroid for both amateur and professional athletes. The reason for that is likely to be the ease of use of it as well as its high effectiveness, both of which make it very popular. There has been an explosion of interest in Dianabol production during the last couple of years; it had a meteoric history of exploding for quite a while, then rapidly disappearing from sight. 

 

This steroid is similar to testosterone and Anadrol 50 in terms of its potency, but it is also one that comes with a number of unwanted side effects. The first thing you need to know about methandienone is that it is quite estrogenic. It is common during treatment for men to suffer from gynecomastia, which can show up quite early in the course of treatment (especially when higher doses are used). The problem of water retention can also cause the loss of muscle definition at the same time, both of which occur as a result of subcutaneous water retention and the build-up of fat beneath the skin. Individuals who are sensitive to estrogen may therefore wish to keep it under control by adding an anti-estrogen supplement like Nolvadex or Proviron in addition to the estrogen. There are several stronger drugs that could be used to treat this condition, but Arimidex, Femara, or Aromasin (antiaromatase) would be a better choice.

 

There is also the possibility of experiencing androgenic side effects after using this substance, such as oily skin, acne, and the growth of hair on the body and on the face. When you use a steroid like this, it is likely that you may experience an increase in aggression, so it would be wise to make sure you don't allow your disposition to change drastically during a cycle. As with any other anabolic steroid, Dianabol also has the potential to accentuate the symptoms of male pattern baldness. In order to avoid sensitive individuals' reactions to this drug, it may be best to opt for a milder anabolic like Deca-Durabolin rather than this drug. Although Dianabol does convert into a more potent steroid when it is in contact with the 5-alpha reductase enzyme (which is the same enzyme responsible for converting testosterone into dihydrotestosterone), it has extremely little affinity to do so in the human body's environment. At best, 5alpha dihydromethandienone is produced in only trace amounts and is therefore not considered an androgenic metabolite.
